An exquisite antique Victorian Scottish bangle set with three rectangle Agates in a wonderful engraved front gallery. Scottish jewellery grew in popularity in the mid- 1800s as Queen Victoria’s frequent trips to her Scottish Castle Balmoral saw her return with Scottish souvenirs which influenced the trend across the country. The piece is set in Sterling Silver and fitted with a secure clasp with an added safety chain for extra security when worn. The bangle sits comfortably around the wrist and is a fine example of the period.
